 The Guardian Angels are a volunteer based organization made up of dedicated individuals who donate their time and energy to help protect communities around the world.
Each chapter is comprised of volunteers that serve the community through neighborhood patrols.
The Guardian Angels attend community festivals and other large gatherings to deter criminal elements from disrupting the celebrations.
 In each safety patrol chapter, Guardian Angel volunteers safeguard streets and other public areas. From dusk until dawn, without weapons, these committed volunteers help to ensure that citizens can enjoy their communities without fearing for their safety.Over the years, The Guardian Angels have empowered thousands of citizens to take responsibility for reclaiming their communities through the formation of local chapters.
A unique feature of The Guardian Angels approach is the groups inclusion of inner city youth in the safety patrols.
By making young people part of the solution rather than casting them as part of the problem, The Guardian Angels empowers youth to take pride in their communities and contribute to the safety
of their neighborhoods.
